The pre-Revolutionary three-story colonial house, built circa 1760 as a schoolhouse, has been used as a private residence since the 1790s. Its many charming, historic features remain intact—wide-board flooring and wall paneling, fireplaces, wrought-iron hardware, and more.

Just a few steps out the door are Front Beach and Rockport’s many fine shops, galleries and restaurants. Recreational challenges abound, as do opportunities for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation.

Two guest apartments are available for seasonal rental. Each is completely separate, occupying a full floor of the house, with private entrances, living room, dining room, bedroom, full bath, and kitchen.
